pcefb This is so much fun to listen to. Nuts is my favourite. Hanging Around is a great homage to another picnic gone bad. Something for every bear that ever there was. Great.

SynthoElectro It's refreshing to hear Tom Ellard making music after all these years. Every song is interesting in its own way. That Severed sound has progressed and I still love it.

Flying Pyjamas Yogibear was my favourite Cabaret Voltaire member.

emuziek Loved it!! esp. - Roadside Picnic (Stalker) - I imagined the narrator describing a grisly murder scene. The animals looked on in horror. Brilliant samples throughout. These are a few of my favourite things. - John Robie (Cary Grant) - known as "the cat" - "To catch a Thief" - great one!

jeremy keens Ok - Tom is 5 years younger than me and at a good age is creating great new music.
The constraint (picnic) has brought out the best in SSS. The use of samples grounds the set and provides the structure suggested by the titles. (& reminds me of Bill Nelson Orchestra Arcana - yes, TE & SH used samples but not across a whole album like this)
If I had to name one track, as someone from Woodend, it has to be Hanging Around as I love the sideways glance of that title and the suggestion of pan pipes!

This is a live set from Bob Moog's Birthday, presented by Clan Analogue at the Brickworks, Sydney Park on a sunny winter Sunday.

My Rules for this set.
- Every track must have a reference to a picnic.
- Every track must adapt an electronic style from the late 20th Century.
- You have two weeks to create and present 40 minutes of music.

Mostly successful with a few bad ideas, but no one tried to burn the tent down. Bribing the audience with chocolate successful.
